Mielies, fresh fruit, and salad. BEETROOT AND PEACH SALAD This is so simple to prepare, and its an absolute showstopper with those beautiful colours. The peaches provide the sweetness that sugar would provide in a traditional South African beetroot salad, while adding to the flavour, the fiber and the vitamin content of this salad! Boil beets in plain water. Peel and thinly slice. Wash and thinly slice peaches. Layer on a flat serving plate. Drizzle generously with balsamic vinegar. Have fun!!
