So much debate over whether fats are good or bad?! Actually, some fats are good and others are bad, as a rule of thumb, most plant fats are good. Here is a great example of a very healthy fat:

Last week I presented a seminar on child nutrition to creche and preschool teachers as part of a week long workshop. We discussed the purpose of different nutrients for children, healthy and affordable food for children from less privileged backgrounds, and how to pack a healthy lunchbox. The women also made beautiful shapes and posters as learning aids for their classes, and advanced their story telling skills, amongst other new skills to help them shape the future generations!
What a great privilege to be a part of this blessed workshop! This year, national nutrition week and national obesity week have been combined with one theme: Breakfast - the best way to start your day!
